Known for being the President of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) and for having been the boss of the Ferrari team, Jean Todt was also the sporting director of Peugeot Sport.
And it was during his time that the fabulous 205 T16 was born.

To be approved in Group B, the ultimate in this discipline at the time, this rally beast required the construction of 219 road models.
The car in front of you is one of them.
Owned by Todt who used it (a little) daily, it doesn't even have 10,000 km on the clock!
It is also one of the first copies produced, and one of four copies painted in white, not in gray.
Finally, its engine was slightly inflated, from 200 to 230 hp.

With such arguments, this car was strongly contested during its auction by the house Aguttes.
It was finally awarded for the tidy sum of € 419,260!
