If the PCR test for the new coronavirus is negative, a new system that allows you to receive a certificate of the test result on your smartphone will start on the 9th of this month.

The aim is to support the smooth movement of people traveling overseas for work.

This system, operated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, is intended for people who have been tested at a designated medical institution from the 9th of this month through the online reservation service for PCR tests provided by the government.

If the test is negative, you can display the digitized certificate issued by the medical institution on the screen of your smartphone with a dedicated app.

Currently, many countries and regions require proof of negativeness when traveling abroad, but the format and required information are different.

Certificates from this system are issued in a format that meets the requirements of your destination and are compatible with most countries and regions except China and Hawaii.

The government wants to support the smooth movement of people traveling abroad for work, etc. by operating this system.
