Abu Dhabi Tourism issues a new circular regarding catering during Ramadan

The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism has permitted tourist and hotel establishments in the emirate to provide catering service during fasting periods in the month of Ramadan without installing curtains or covering destinations.

The Department of Culture and Tourism issued an amendment to the circular it issued yesterday regarding serving food during fasting periods in the month of Ramadan, which required facilities to install curtains or cover destinations as a condition for serving food during fasting periods in Ramadan.

In a new circular issued today, the department said that the circular has been amended in line with the usual practices in this regard at tourist and hotel establishments.

She noted in the amendment that tourist and hotel establishments are allowed to provide catering services as usual during the month of Ramadan without installing curtains or covering destinations.
