At 14:28 on May 12, 2008, a magnitude 8.0 earthquake raided Wenchuan, Sichuan.
In an instant, the mountains and rivers were broken and devastated, from south to north along the Longmen Mountains, from Yingxiu Town in Wenchuan, the epicenter of the epicenter, to Maoxian, Mianzhu, Shifang, Beichuan, Qingchuan and other counties and cities, stretching for more than 300 kilometers, involving more than 100,000 square kilometers of the hardest-hit area. .
Thirteen years have passed. The reporter revisited the earthquake-stricken area of the year, and saw stretches of mountains covered in green clothing, small towns and new villages rising from the ground, schools and books rang out, factories were reborn... Rescue and reconstruction

Immediately after the earthquake, the Party Central Committee issued instructions, emphasizing that saving people’s lives is a top priority, and doing their best to arrange the lives of the people in the disaster-stricken areas.
With the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the full support of the people across the country, an earthquake relief struggle with the fastest rescue speed, the widest range of mobilization, and the largest investment in my country's history has been launched quickly.
Rescuers raced against time to rescue more than 80,000 survivors from the rubble, treated more than 4 million wounded and sick, and transferred more than 10,000 wounded outside the province in a safe and orderly manner.
There were no famines, no outbreaks of epidemics, and no social unrest in the disaster-stricken areas.
The Wenchuan earthquake is highly destructive, has a wide range, and is difficult to rescue. Post-disaster reconstruction is called a "global problem", and there is no precedent to follow.
In post-disaster reconstruction and development, the Party Central Committee requires that the people must be the center and the principle of "people's livelihood first" must be implemented.
One month after the earthquake, the Party Central Committee called for "one-to-one" assistance in the construction of the hardest-hit counties in 19 provinces and cities. More than 300,000 aid troops rushed to the earthquake-stricken areas. Nearly a million volunteers came spontaneously, fully demonstrating our society. The superiority of the socialist system.

The resettlement and livelihood problems of 200,000 farmers whose arable land and homesteads were destroyed were properly resolved, and more than 27,000 people who were disabled by the earthquake received medical rehabilitation.
The goal of "households for every household, employment for every household, security for everyone, improved facilities, economic development, and ecological improvement" was achieved as scheduled.
Rebirth from the ashes to revitalization
After seven days of rescue and rescue, 100 days of resettlement, a thousand days of reconstruction, and 13 years of development and revitalization, the Chinese Communist Party has led the people to create a great miracle of earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction.

Due to severe road damage, Wenchuan after the earthquake once became an "isolated island" that was difficult to access.
Now, with the opening of the Dujiangyan-Wenchuan Expressway, it only takes less than two hours to drive from Chengdu to Wenchuan.
In recent years, through the construction of Wenchuan-Malkang Expressway and the reconstruction and reconstruction of National Highway 213 and 317, a transportation network extending in all directions and fast in and out is being formed.
