Confused situation in Jordan this Sunday, April 4 in the morning when Prince Hamza, former crown prince and half-brother of King Abdullah II, was placed under house arrest.

In the aftermath of a wave of arrests, especially among relatives of the royal family and in the absence of official explanations, which the authorities have undertaken to do this Sunday, April 4, many questions remain unanswered.

Was Prince Hamza, a former hereditary prince whose title was withdrawn by his half-brother King Abdullah II, part of a plot, was he seeking to overthrow his half-brother?

On Saturday, the authorities also reportedly made arrests among relatives of the ruling family, including a former king's adviser, according to the official Petra news agency.
