  The Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan Railway is one of the first eight demonstration projects of social capital investment in China. It will start construction at the end of 2017. It is expected that it will be ready for operation before the end of 2021.

  Zheng Liming, executive manager of the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan Railway Project Department of the China Railway Electrification Bureau, introduced that the rooftop 10kV power distribution station is the first power distribution station for the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan high-speed railway.

"The successful transmission of power from the distribution station opened the prelude to the start of the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan railway power supply equipment and provided power guarantee for the subsequent construction of the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan high-speed railway."

  According to reports, since the start of construction of the rooftop 10kV power distribution station, the Hangzhou-Shaotai Railway Project Department of the China Railway Electrification Bureau has overcome the influence of various factors and made sufficient preparations in order to ensure the delivery of electricity on schedule.

Managers are on-site to keep track of their posts, deploying and advancing the difficult tasks in the early stage such as house delivery, equipment installation, secondary wiring, and equipment testing; the person in charge of electric power and external power sources actively carry out external coordination and liaison, and cooperate with the power supply company to study construction plans and power transmission many times. Plan; hold several special power transmission meetings in the early stage of power transmission to refine the power transmission implementation plan; strengthen on-site management and control to ensure that all work is carried out in an orderly manner on the day of power transmission.

  It is reported that the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan Railway is a fast passage connecting Hangzhou Metropolitan Area and Wen-Tai coastal city clusters in Zhejiang Province. It is also an important part of the intercity rail transit network in the Yangtze River Delta region and a component of the national coastal railway fast passenger transport passage.

  After the completion of the project, it can be interconnected with Nanjing-Hangzhou, Shanghe-Hangzhou, Shanghai-Hangzhou and other high-speed railways, and become a fast passenger transport channel connecting Hangzhou Bay urban agglomeration, Nanjing metropolitan area, and Wanjiang urban belt; the southern end can be further extended to Wenzhou, becoming As a component of the coastal passage, it forms a backbone rail transit line that radiates from the core area of ​​the Yangtze River Delta to the southwest region, which complements and perfects China's high-speed railway network.
