21 candidate sites were selected for the'city center public housing complex project', one of the core government's measures to supply 2·4 housing.

This project is to build high-rise apartments in low-rise residential areas such as station areas or villa villages, and the construction of such high-rise apartment villages in urban areas requires the consent of local real estate owners.

is an area where traffic is inconvenient due to the narrow road in the old houses on the 2nd and 3rd floors of most opposite Yeongdeungpo Station in Seoul.

These 21 deteriorated sites have been designated as candidates for urban public housing complex projects.

There are 9 station areas including Yeongdeungpo Station in 4 districts in Dobong, Eunpyeong, Yeongdeungpo, and Geumcheon, 10 low-rise residential areas such as Yeongdeungpo Singil-dong and Eunpyeong Susaek-dong, and 2 semi-industrial areas such as Dobong Chang-dong.

ratio up to 700% and reduced the burden of residents such as donations, resulting in a profit of up to 30% points compared to private development. With more guarantees, the government was optimistic about the participation of residents.

However, all 21 candidate sites were not proposed by residents, but were applied by local governments.

Until the actual project is approved, more than two-thirds of the land and building owners must obtain consent, but there are opposition to public development in which there are many residents who make profits through commercial tenants in housing complexes in the station area.

The suspicion of LH speculation and the re-election of the mayor of Seoul with less than a week left are also variables.

The government plans to focus on investigating speculative transactions in candidate sites, and plans to disclose additional candidate sites four to five times by July.
