The EU Corona aid should actually be ready to go by the end of June.

The money should flow in July.

However, this presupposes that the parliaments of all EU member states give their consent to the financing of the reconstruction plan by the end of June.

On Friday, however, the Federal Constitutional Court stopped German approval of Europe's reconstruction plan.

The arrangement is not a decision on the merits. The supreme German court only secures the necessary time to judge a further order and the actual lawsuit against the plan. Nonetheless, the decision clearly shows that the judges take the lawsuit and the arguments of the plaintiffs around the economist and politician Bernd Lucke seriously.
