New hikes in gasoline prices next April
The sites of fuel distribution companies announced today that the prices of gasoline "gasoline" with its derivatives "Super 98", "Special 95" and "I Plus 91" have increased in their indicators as of the first of next April, with a value that ranged between 16 and 17 fils per liter. While the price of a liter of diesel increased by seven compared to the prices of this month, according to the prices approved by the Committee for Monitoring the Prices of Various Fuels, including VAT, at a rate of 5%.
The price increases came for the second month in a row after it recorded an increase in March of 21 fils per liter of gasoline, and 14 fils per liter of diesel compared to the prices of last February.
The price of a liter of "Super 98" gasoline increased from 2.12 dirhams to reach 2.29 dirhams, an increase of 17 fils, while the price of a liter of "special 95" gasoline increased from 2.01 dirhams, to 2.17 dirhams, an increase of 16 fils. I Plus 91, from AED 1.93 to AED 2.15.
The price of a liter of diesel increased from 2.15 dirhams per liter to 2.22 dirhams, as of the beginning of next April.
It is noteworthy that the fuel price standards adopted by the Ministry of Energy and Industry are determined on a monthly basis, according to the average international oil prices, up or down, after adding the operating costs of the distribution companies.
