Du's general assembly approves dividends for the second half of 2020

The annual general assembly of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company "du" approved the proposal of the Board of Directors regarding the distribution of profits of 15 fils per share for the second half of 2020.

The company revealed in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market today that, with this, the total dividend per share for the year 2020 would reach 28 fils per share, at 28% of the share par value.

In the statement that Emirates Today obtained a copy of, the company indicated that the General Assembly that held its meeting last Thursday afternoon, electronically, approved the Board of Directors 'report on the company's activities and its financial position for the year ending on December 31, 2020, and approved the auditors' report. Accounts for that year, and approved the company's balance sheet and account for the ended fiscal year.

The company clarified in its statement that the General Assembly approved the discharge of the members of the Board of Directors and the release of the auditors from liability for the ended fiscal year.
