[Explanation] At 1:30 am on March 27th, Hainan Airlines' Haikou-Paris round-trip flight HU787 took off from Haikou Meilan International Airport with a full load of 35 tons of cargo, marking the official opening of the first regular intercontinental cargo route in Hainan Free Trade Port.

This route is a perennial scheduled air cargo cooperation project jointly carried out by HNA and LENTON Group, a subsidiary of France Post.

  [Explanation] Liu Taolin, general manager of the flight department of Hainan Airlines, introduced that the flight is operated by Boeing 787-9. The one-way flight lasts 13 hours, and there are four round-trip flights in total every week.

  The outbound goods transported on this flight are mainly express e-commerce goods and general goods, which are about 35 tons, and the flight is fully loaded.

In the future, Hainan Airlines will continue to expand the import and transportation channels of duty-free goods to provide fast cargo transportation guarantee for cross-border e-commerce and duty-free goods.

  [Explanation] Liu Taolin said that the opening of regular intercontinental freight routes between Haikou and Paris will help promote commodity trade between China and Europe.

  (This freight route) uses Haikou as the exit point and return entry point, and will bring together the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and other places (collection of cargo sources) in Haikou to realize the transfer and distribution of domestic and international goods in the Hainan Free Trade Port. Trade exchanges open up new paths.

  [Explanation] According to reports, in the future, HNA and LENTON Group will deepen cooperation and increase more intercontinental routes.
