Produced in 5 million copies since its commercial debut in 1993, the Ford Mondeo has only one year to live.
Indeed, its manufacture will be definitively stopped at the end of March 2022. The reason is quite simple: the brand with the blue oval is selling less and less and wishes to concentrate on SUVs and crossovers.
On the other hand, the S-Max and Galaxy minivans will continue to be produced at the plant in Valencia (Spain).
These have also just been declined in a hybrid version which should "boost" their sales, which has been declining in recent years.
