Reshetnikov noted the decline in sugar prices on the domestic market of Russia

"The agreement on fixed prices for sugar between suppliers and retailers helped reduce sugar prices in Russia by 8%," Interfax reports, citing Reshetnikov's statement at a briefing.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian government is discussing the introduction of subsidies to producers of sugar and sunflower oil.
