At least now it is becoming clear that the federal government is only pretending to act like a reflex and panic, no longer listening to its own advisors and specialist officials and has lost all sense of proportion.
Completely arbitrarily, she introduces a new criterion for the granting of freedom of travel, which is actually the fundamental right of all of us: the popularity value of the vacation spot takes the place of the incidence value.
Mallorca is safer than almost any German district

Because you can really not attach a Mallorca ban to the incidences.
The value there has been below 50 for weeks, and recently even below 20. A place that is safer than pretty much any district in Germany.
Which is why it is no longer on the list of risk areas of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and there is no longer a travel warning from the Federal Foreign Office.
Why shouldn't you be allowed in anyway?
Because some federal and state politicians are no longer able to differentiate when the word “Mallorca” is mentioned.
Then the pictures of the Ballermann drinking tourist jump in the mind's eye and the demand for a travel ban from the mouth at the same time.
Clubs and discos are closed on malls, restaurants close at 5 p.m., curfew is at 10 p.m., a mask requirement is even on the beach and hotel rooms are only allowed to share with members of the same household.
Such things should of course be known and weighed up before one carelessly reaches into the toolbox of dictatorships.

At the technical level, five federal ministries had agreed on an opening concept with representatives of the RKI and the travel and aviation industry, which is based primarily on an implementable test strategy and a relatively simple extension of the digital entry registration.

In a study in February, the RKI found that organized travel was not one of the drivers of the pandemic.
