These two companies as well as the company Roland Monterrat are sanctioned "for having drawn up and implemented [...] a plan aiming to distribute the volumes and the customers and to agree on the prices".
Three sandwich makers were sanctioned for "cartel" by the Competition Authority, the companies La Toque Angevine and Daunat receiving fines of 15.5 and 9 million euros respectively, according to a press release Wednesday.
These two companies as well as the company Roland Monterrat, "which all three manufacture private label sandwiches for large-scale retailers", are sanctioned "for having drawn up and implemented, between September 2010 and September 2016, a plan aiming to share volumes and customers and to agree on prices ", it is indicated.
