DP World and Zayed University sign cooperation agreement in Expo 2020 Dubai

DP World, the leading global provider of integrated smart logistics and the premier global trading partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zayed University aiming to showcase the creative artwork of creative students in the DP World's "Flow Pavilion" throughout the period. The event will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.



With the virtual presence of the Minister of Culture and Youth and President of Zayed University, Noura bint Mohammed Al-Kaabi, the agreement was signed by Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of DP World, and Vice President of the University, Dr. Khaled Khazraji.



A statement issued today stated that the agreement covers a number of promising future projects that the two parties will cooperate in implementing, and focuses mainly on the creative "art of flow" designed by the Expo 2020 Dubai team of Dubai Ports World, and will become part of the educational curriculum for the various technical courses. Provided by the College of Arts and Creative Projects at Zayed University during the academic year 2021-2022.



This exceptional project aims to transform multiple spaces in the DP World Pavilion into creative, interactive panels based on innovative content.

Zayed University students will develop comfortable spaces with a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the "flow pavilion" during the period of this important global exhibition, which is the most prominent event on the agenda of DP World this year.



The project aims to reinforce the educational goals of DP World and emphasize its commitment to contribute to establishing a permanent presence in District 2020, the human-centered smart city, which will reimagine more than 80% of the site area at Expo 2020 upon the conclusion of the event. All creative works presented will be signed with the names of the students, with the addition of explanatory signs indicating the name of the college and university they belong to.
