Etisalat announced yesterday a new partnership under which it became the official communication partner of Etihad Airways, in a move aimed at providing the latest mobile services and digital solutions to meet the changing needs of small and medium-sized companies, in an effort to support them during their digital transformation journey.
A statement issued that the new partnership aims to unify the efforts of "Etisalat" and "Etihad Airways", and the exchange of solutions and services provided to business customers on both sides, as "Etihad Airways" provides exclusive and valuable travel offers to all customers of "Etisalat" from the business sector and partners of the center. "Hello Business Hub" for startups, while "Etisalat" provides digital solutions and distinctive mobile offerings to Etihad Airways' business customers.
The memorandum of understanding between the two parties includes cooperation in digital channels to facilitate and provide their services through the other party’s website, by providing business packages for mobile phones from “Etisalat”, through the Etihad Corporate Loyalty Program (Business Connect), to allow Etihad Airways customers to obtain services. And communications packages, in addition to providing Etihad Airways services on the Etisalat website.
The memorandum was signed by Essam Mahmoud, Senior Vice President for Small and Medium Enterprises at Etisalat, and Fatima Al Muhairi, Vice President Sales for Etihad Airways.
Mahmoud said, "The small and medium-sized companies sector plays a pivotal role in the growth of the UAE's economy, advancing innovation, creating business opportunities, in addition to forming future business models."
He emphasized Etisalat's keenness to keep pace with the requirements of emerging institutions and the small and medium-sized companies sector, and to support them in developing their business and achieving success during their digital journey.
He pointed out that the partnership with "Etihad Airways" reflects our continuous efforts to provide the best solutions and services to the business sector.
For her part, Al Muhairi said, "This partnership is an ideal opportunity for cooperation between (Etihad Airways) and (Etisalat) and the development of distinguished products, offers and activities that contribute to supporting the SME sector and the growth of its business by using the latest innovative solutions."
