Regarding employees, we will maintain employment as much as possible by consulting for reassignment.

According to the announcement, "LIXIL" will close the "Maebashi Factory" in Maebashi City, which manufactures handrails and garages for balconies, by the end of March next year.

Part of the business we are doing at the Maebashi Factory is to transfer it to the Kasukawa Factory in the same Maebashi City, as well as factories in Toyama and Ibaraki Prefectures.

The Maebashi Plant has a total of 729 employees, of which 254 full-time employees and employees directly contracted by LIXIL will be reassigned, while employees who indirectly have fixed-term contracts. Also, it is said that it will consult about relocation and support reemployment.
