[Explanation] In response to the "soaking medicine wogan" incident reported by the media a few days ago, on March 16, a reporter from China News Service went to Shuangqiao Town, Wuming District, Nanning City, Guangxi to understand the situation on the spot.

[Explanation] Huang Mingxiu, the owner of Xinfu Orchard in Shuangqiao Town, said that there are fewer pests in Wuming, and Wo orange does not need to be sprayed with pesticides, but a small amount of sunscreen (prochloramine) needs to be sprayed during the growth of Wo orange to prevent sun exposure. Water loss in the pulp.

This kind of words is anti-sun fruit, because the sun in our south is too strong, anti-sun, it is non-toxic and harmless to the human body.

[Explanation] Regarding the "Soaking Medicine Wo Tang" incident reported by the media a few days ago, Huang Mingxiu believes that the incident was purely out of nothing.

[Concurrent] Huang Mingxiu, owner of Xinfu Orchard

I think (the "Soaking Medicine Wo Orange" incident) was born out of nothing, messed up, talked nonsense, originally this prochloraz, it is a kind of protection, it is not poisonous, it is fresh, for example, if you say this, you directly It can be peeled off immediately after soaking. For example, if I soak it in prochloraz now, I can eat it directly. If you peel off this (skin), you can eat the meat inside. There is no problem at all, no Yes, it's this kind of non-toxic.

[Explanation] The reporter saw that the mechanical assembly line for cleaning Wo orange is running in the Jiawo Agricultural Professional Cooperative in Wuming District.

The mechanically cleaned mandarins are sorted according to the fruit grade and then packed in boxes for sale.

Huang Qinan, chairman of the Jiawo Agricultural Specialized Cooperative, said that wo tangerines are exposed to the outdoors for a long time, and the skin not only has sunscreen, but also many bacteria and dust.

After the cooperative collects the citrus oranges from the farmers, it first soaks in well water to soften the dirt, then washes it with a brush, and then uses the preservation system developed by the National Citrus Preservation Technology Research and Development Center, and uses the boiler to heat it and put it in the water. Preservatives with national safety standards can be stored for a longer period of time.

We use this medicine according to this local standard and national standard, and we put it strictly. Why do we put it in strict accordance with this ratio? This is the case. Our current fruit is exported to Canada and some countries in Southeast Asia. , So we have to pass a strict inspection, a inspection by the customs, our customs itself must also inspect, and the other side's customs must also inspect, and our fruit also needs to be exported, which is very safe.

So after we have processed this, this commodity fruit appears on the market, you look very beautiful, so that the value of the commodity fruit will increase.

[Explanation] It is understood that wo tangerine is a storage-stable fruit, which can be kept fresh on the tree for up to 5 months. After being picked, it can be stored for more than 1 month at room temperature without any treatment.

No preservatives are used for the fruit oranges that are picked and sold directly by the growers.

Some orders that need to extend the shelf life will only use a small amount of preservative to assist with preservation.

The imazalil and prochloraz, which are routinely used in the preservation process, are all preservatives approved and registered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The standard use of fruit preservation will not affect the health of consumers.

[Explanation] Huang Junli, a merchant who has been doing fruit business in Shenzhen, Guangdong, told reporters that he has been in the wo mandarin business since 2015, and the sales of Wo mandarin are increasing year by year.

At the beginning, it was able to sell about 1 million catties of fertile mandarins per year, and now the annual sales volume of fertile mandarins reaches 10 million catties.

Huang Junli has his own views on the "paoyao wogan" incident.

I feel this problem. If you say that it is like this report that the fruit grower does not eat fruit, I think this is abnormal. Which fruit grower does not eat fruit?

Why don’t you eat the fruit and grow the ground? In fact, there is no guarantee for its freshness. If it is to protect it from rot, it is a sterilization effect. The other tastes are based on the quality of the fruit itself. Requirement, if it is too ripe, it can't be kept fresh.

[Explanation] Huang Jinde, a staff member of the Market Supervision Administration of Wuming District, Nanning City, introduced to reporters that after the incident of "Soaking Medicine Wo Tang", the agricultural department conducted strict inspections on the use of medicines in the fruit washing plant, and the Market Supervision Administration checked market circulation. The wo tangerines have been strictly tested.

[Concurrent] Huang Jinde, a staff member of the Market Supervision Administration of Wuming District, Nanning City

For strict inspection, one is to look at (sellers) their purchase bills and inspection bills, as well as their registration manuals for quick inspections, etc. We all require them to do this. If we are outside the market, we will take sampling. For inspections, our annual sample coverage of agricultural products is about 1,800.
