In 2010, it drilled my country’s first shale gas well, Wei 201, and in 2011, my country’s first commercial shale gas well, Ning 201. —H1 Well, in 2019, the first million-square-meter shale gas well Lu 203 in my country was drilled.

  Up to now, the cumulative proven reserves of shale gas in southern Sichuan are 1.06 trillion cubic meters, and the annual output has exceeded 10 billion cubic meters. my country’s largest shale gas production base and the first "trillion reserves, tens of billions of output" shale have been built. Gas fields continue to lead the domestic shale gas field.

  According to reports, PetroChina has improved its market access management and selected five elite drilling forces. The number of drilling rigs increased from 38 in early 2018 to 169 at the peak, 35 sets of fracturing equipment were used, and the average annual drilling footage exceeded 1.4 million meters.

Since 2020, with the continuous acceleration of the exploration and development of deep shale gas in Luzhou and Western Chongqing, 37 sets of 7000-meter drilling rigs and 6 sets of 140MPa fracturing equipment have been coordinated in time to meet the demand for deep shale gas production.

  At the same time, PetroChina accelerated the iterative upgrade of engineering technology and formed 87 technical standards and 26 guidelines for shale gas in southern Sichuan. The average drilling cycle for medium and shallow formations was 78 days and the drilling cycle for deep formations was 112 days, an increase of 35% and 15% respectively from the initial period; Vigorously promote the fracturing technology 2.0 technology, and the average daily output of wells has reached 250,000 cubic meters; explored "daily fee system", "electricity instead of oil", "quartz sand instead of ceramsite" and other cost-reducing and efficiency-increasing measures, and well engineering investment has been reduced year by year.

  It is understood that PetroChina has created the first set of surface engineering design standards for China's shale gas, and continues to promote the integrated design and construction of the pre-drilling surface. The construction period of a single platform has been shortened by more than 20 days, and the construction period of gas gathering stations and dehydration devices has been shortened by 30%. 50%.
