Hoshino Resorts, which operates luxury inns and hotels nationwide, has announced that it will open three hotels for urban tourism in Kyoto City from next month.

Although it is a corona virus, it is a decision that anticipates a recovery in tourism demand due to the spread of vaccines.

This was revealed by "Hoshino Resorts" at a press conference on the 16th.

According to this, the company will open three hotels for urban tourism in Kyoto city from next month.

Two of these hotels, one located about a 5-minute walk from the world heritage site Toji and the other located in the downtown Sanjo area, are scheduled to open at the same time on the 15th of next month.

The hotel industry is facing a difficult business environment due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but the company has decided to open it with the expectation that tourism demand will recover in the medium to long term in light of the spread of vaccines.

Hoshino Resorts will take over the operation of all three hotels, which were closed or plans to open were suspended.

At a press conference, Yoshiharu Hoshino said, "It is important to make full use of the characteristics of existing facilities and analyze what kind of customers they will meet."

In addition, the hotel under construction at Shin-Imamiya in Osaka is scheduled to open in April next year as scheduled.
