  In terms of safe operation, in February, the entire industry completed 564,000 hours of transportation aviation flight, a year-on-year increase of 95.3%; general aviation flight hours were 32,000 hours, a year-on-year increase of 233.8%.

There were no aviation accidents, and the industry's safety production continued to maintain an overall stable trend.

As of the end of February, national transport aviation continued to fly safely for "120+6" months with 90.74 million hours and safely transported 4.67 billion passengers.

  In terms of production and operation, due to the low base in the same period last year, in February, the main indicators of civil aviation production and transportation showed rapid growth year-on-year. The industry's total transportation turnover, passenger transportation, and cargo and mail transportation volume were 5.02 billion ton-kilometers and 23.948 million. The number of people, 459,000 tons, an increase of 99.3%, 187.1%, and 54.7% respectively.

  Compared with before the epidemic, the total transportation turnover is equivalent to 52.1% of the same period in 2019, and the passenger traffic is equivalent to 44.5% of the same period in 2019. The degree of recovery is still not high; however, the volume of cargo and mail transportation increased by 22.0% compared with the same period in 2019.

In February, the industry's all-cargo aircraft completed a total of 189,000 tons of cargo and mail transportation, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year, and continued to maintain a relatively high growth rate.

  In terms of operational guarantee, in February, a total of 266,000 flights of various types were guaranteed, with an average of 9,518 flights per day, an average increase of 75.5% year-on-year and a decrease of 15.2% month-on-month.

The national flight regularity rate was 95.1%, maintaining a relatively high level.

  Wu Shijie also said that during the Spring Festival this year, a total of 410,000 flights of various types were guaranteed, with an average of 10,262 flights per day, a year-on-year decrease of 9.4%.

The flight regularity rate was 93.8%, an increase of 5.7 percentage points year-on-year.
