JETRO = Japan External Trade Organization has held an online seminar for the first time so that university students who cannot study abroad due to the spread of the new coronavirus can learn the latest situation of business with overseas.

The online seminar held on the night of the 12th was attended by approximately 1000 students interested in doing business abroad.



Five JETRO staff members serve as instructors, and regarding the current situation of Japanese SMEs dealing with overseas, online business negotiations are increasing due to the influence of the new coronavirus, and the response to digitalization and online shopping is accelerating. I explained.



Among them, a staff member who is familiar with Chinese business said, "Chinese companies are quick to start services and decide things, and solve problems while operating them." Emphasized that quick judgment is also important.



One of the university students who participated said, "I felt that the positive attitude of Chinese companies is demonstrating their strength in the field of business. I wanted to know more about international business before becoming a member of society." I was talking.
