The reporter learned from the Guizhou Provincial Pig Industry Development Leading Group Office that this year’s 40 new key pig industry projects in Guizhou can be fully started by the end of June, involving breeding, feed processing, slaughtering and intensive processing. The planned investment is 6.8 billion yuan. After completion, it will add 4.8 million pigs, 840,000 tons of feed, and 700,000 new slaughter and processing capacity.
It is understood that in recent years, Guizhou Province has vigorously recruited leading pig breeding companies and promoted the construction of new large-scale large-scale breeding farms and family pastures. The 65 key pig industry projects to be started in 2020 have now been completed and 53 new pigs have been added. The pig breeding system has been continuously improved, and large farms and small farms have promoted intensive breeding, which has driven a large number of village collectives and farmers to benefit, forming a stable industrial complex.
