The childcare company Babychou Services, which has 95 agencies throughout France, offers more than 2,500 jobs, including 400 to be filled as of now.

The founder and director of the group Claire Lanneau was on Europe 1, Friday, to announce a recruitment day dedicated to students on March 17th.

During the Covid-19 health crisis, finding a job seems an impossible task for many French people, especially the youngest.

This is why Europe 1 is committed to relaying job offers on the program

La France Bouge

by Elisabeth Assayag and Emmanuel Duteil.

On Friday, it was the founder and director of Babychou Services, Claire Lanneau, who announced the recruitment of more than 2,500 people in the childcare sector.

And it is the students, hard hit by the crisis, that the company wants to help as a priority.

Up to 20 hours per week

On Wednesday March 17, Babychou Services is preparing a day specially dedicated to the recruitment of students, an operation entitled "One student, one job".

"We will welcome all these students that we want to pamper them, we will take care of them, we will offer them a coffee, even offer them other activities. But in the meantime we will find them a job", assures Claire Lanneau, who adds that registration is mandatory to respect health protocols.

The proposed pace is indeed perfect for students: part-time, up to 20 hours per week.

"We therefore have a home care activity for children aged 0 to 11, after leaving nursery and leaving school. We also keep babies during full days everywhere in France," explains Claire Lanneau.

The manager of Babychou recalls that offers exist in the 95 agencies of the group in France.

500 work-study positions

And the company isn't just looking for students.

"We need motivated young people!", Proclaims the founder and leader of the group.

This is why 500 work-study positions to prepare for the CAP in early childhood educational support are also offered by the company.

At the beginning, Babychou was an association intended to be of service to families.

It developed in the Paris region and has become a franchise system.

To maintain this network, the director and founder of Babychou Services also addresses people in professional retraining, "people who want to start their business".

Finally, the company, which already has more than 5,000 active employees throughout France and overseas, is looking for around thirty executives to integrate its different agencies.
