He stated that electronic payment applications have found great demand in the Emirates, especially that 70% of the country's population is young people (less than 35 years old), who are considered to be at the forefront of users of those applications, which increase in their number and services continuously, whether for what concerns consumers, or Merchants, or service providers in general.

Al-Saadi expected that the adoption of electronic payment applications will not decline after the end of the pandemic, especially after users found that they are easy to use, in addition to the speed and high degree of security they enjoy.

Al-Saadi revealed that there are more than 100,000 users, currently, for the services of the "Pay By" application developed by the company and bearing the same name, explaining that the most used services in electronic payment relate to the retail sectors and to pay bills.

He said that the application has started a deferred payment service, which aims to allow users to pay in installments for retail bills, indicating that the service is currently undergoing trial, in preparation for its widespread launch before the end of this year.

Al-Saadi mentioned that there is a demand from grocery stores and retailers to use the "Pay By" application, pointing out that more than 70 grocery stores in Abu Dhabi currently accept payment through the application, and partnerships have been concluded with government agencies to pay via the application, such as: Department of Transportation, While there is support from the Health Authority in Abu Dhabi to accept health facilities, pharmacies and hospitals to pay, through the application, as well as partnerships with other bodies, such as: "LuLu Hypermarket" and First Abu Dhabi Bank, which activated 40 thousand points in the areas of retail sale, to pay via The application.
