Mikhelson turns to Putin with proposals to support the LNG industry

Mikhelson asked to set tariffs for transshipment of LNG at points in Murmansk and Kamchatka in the currency component, and not in rubles, as is done at the moment.

"The introduction of an official possibility of investment tariff deduction would help the growth of investments in Russia, we have good experience of working with Russian Railways," the head of NOVATEK was quoted as saying by TASS.

The Russian leader noted that he would ask the government to consider these proposals.

Earlier it was reported that Gazprom supplied the first shipment of carbon-neutral liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Europe.
