Last year, the evaluation of 154 brands of rice produced nationwide was announced on the 4th, and 53 brands, which is about one-third of the total, were evaluated as the highest "Special A".



Although the number of stocks has decreased by one compared to the previous year, more than 50 stocks have become "Special A" for the third consecutive year.



Of these, Yumepirika in Hokkaido is "Special A" for 10 consecutive years, and Koshihikari from Uonuma, Niigata Prefecture is for 3 consecutive years.



In addition, "Mineasahi" from Mikawa Mountains in Aichi Prefecture was selected as Special A for the first time in Aichi Prefecture, and the previous "A" and 14 stocks that were evaluated below it were promoted to "Special A". Did.



On the other hand, 15 brands such as "Akitakomachi" from the south of Akita prefecture, which was "Special A" for 8 consecutive years, and "Hitomebore" in Miyagi prefecture have changed from "Special A" to "A".
