"The pipe-laying vessel" Akademik Chersky "left the port of Wismar and headed to the Kaliningrad region to conduct sea and pre-operational tests," the message says.

It is noted that "after their completion, the vessel will begin pipe-laying work in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark."

It is also reported that Nord Stream 2 AG "sent the necessary notification to the Danish Maritime Administration (DMA), all work will be carried out in accordance with the obtained permits."
