Volvo C40 Recharge -

Offered only in an electric version, the Volvo C40 Recharge, with its lower roof than that of the XC40 and its plunging rear line, is more of a crossover than an SUV.
It introduces the new face that will now sport all battery models of the Swedish manufacturer.

With this new model, Volvo is making several daring choices: first that of no longer offering genuine leather interior.
Then, as we mentioned here, the C40 the first Volvo to be sold only online, in preselected configurations.
Finally, it will be accompanied by formulas including many services (maintenance, top-up insurance, etc.).
Equipped with two engines and a 78 kWh battery, the C40 should have around 420 km of range.
Its production will begin next autumn at the Ghent plant in Belgium.
