The information from diplomatic sources was confirmed on Tuesday by the head of French diplomacy before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.

The Iranian decision to

Iran, for its part, issued a new warning on Tuesday against the possible adoption of such a resolution.

At a time when Tehran and the international community seek to salvage the Iranian nuclear deal reached in 2015 in Vienna, Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabii warned that the adoption of such a resolution risked rendering these efforts are in vain.

But he reaffirmed the Iranian executive's commitment to a concerted solution.
