This is the tenth consecutive year that the Hurun Research Institute has released the "Global Rich List". The deadline for calculating the wealth of entrepreneurs on the list is January 15, 2021.
There are three new faces in the top ten: Tesla founder Elon Musk, Nongfu Spring founder Zhong Suisuan, and Hermes Group Chairman Bertrand Piech.
Elon Musk, 49, became the world's richest man for the first time with a fortune of 1.28 trillion yuan.
This is also the first time that China has entered the top ten list of global entrepreneurs.
The 67-year-old Zhong Sui Sui became the richest man in China and the richest man in Asia thanks to the listing of Nongfu Spring in Hong Kong in September 2020.
Zhong Suansui also founded another listed company, the vaccine manufacturer Wantai Bio, with a current market value of more than 10 billion U.S. dollars, which makes him one of the few entrepreneurs in the world who has founded more than one company worth more than 10 billion U.S. dollars. One.

This is also the first time since the release of the Hurun Global Rich List that no real estate entrepreneur has entered the top ten in China.
The total wealth of listed entrepreneurs living in China is 29 trillion yuan, an increase of 73% over last year.
Hurun Report Chairman and Chief Research Officer Hu Run said: “In the past year, China has added 256 billion-dollar entrepreneurs, becoming the world’s first entrepreneur with thousands of known billion-dollar entrepreneurs.
