(hereinafter referred to as "China Life"), in Heihe City, posted on Sina Weibo that "employees report a large number of China Life "Fake" video.

The person in charge of the relevant departments of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission responded on the evening of the 26th, saying that it will conduct a comprehensive investigation of the relevant business of China Life in Heilongjiang Province.

  The person in charge said that after the incident, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission attached great importance to it and requested the Heilongjiang Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau to set up a special working group to investigate.

In the early stage, in response to the issues reported by the whistleblower, the Heihe Branch of the Heilongjiang Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau inspected the Nenjiang branch of China Life in Heihe City in accordance with the law, and imposed administrative penalties on the verified violations of laws and regulations.

In the next step, the Heilongjiang Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau will draw inferences from one another, combine the verification of letters and visits with the investigation of violations of laws and regulations, comprehensively investigate the relevant businesses of China Life Heilongjiang Province, and based on the verified situation, deal with relevant institutions and responsible persons seriously according to law.

  At the same time, the China Life Insurance Regulatory Commission instructed China Life to conduct in-depth inspections of clues, comprehensive self-inspection, increase accountability, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and practitioners.

Currently, China Life has made specific arrangements and is stepping up relevant work.

  The above-mentioned person in charge said that in recent years, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission has been committed to rectifying chaos in the bancassurance market and increasing the protection of consumer rights.

In 2020, 3,178 bancassurance institutions were punished across the system, 4,554 persons responsible were punished, and a total of 2.275 billion yuan was fined and confiscated.

In December 2020, the executive meeting of the State Council deployed measures to promote the expansion, quality, and steady development of the life insurance industry.

The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission will further deepen reforms, strengthen supervision, resolutely rectify stubborn illnesses in the industry and market chaos, and promote the high-quality development of the life insurance industry.
