Emirates Airlines and Dubai Health are working to digitally verify Covid-19 travelers' records

Today, Emirates Airlines and the Dubai Health Authority signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at making Dubai one of the first cities in the world to implement digital verification of travelers' medical records for "Covid-19" tests and vaccines.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Airlines and Group His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and the Director General of Dubai Health Authority Awad Al Ketbi.

Under the memorandum of understanding, Emirates Airlines and the Dubai Health Authority will work on linking the information technology systems of the laboratories approved by the authority with the reservation systems and travel procedures of Emirates Airlines, in order to allow the sharing and storage of health information for passengers related to injuries, tests and vaccines, "Covid-19", and verify it in a safe and compatible manner. With the law.

The two sides will immediately start work on the project, with the aim of putting it into practice for the passenger service during the next few months.
