] The

price is set in the early-mid 50 million won range, so if you get a subsidy, you can buy it for 30 million won.

In our electric car market, expensive imported cars such as Mercedes EQC400 and Audi e-tron were the main trend, led by Tesla, but the government's subsidy policy change sparked price competition.

Let's try to support the full subsidy only for products less than KRW 60 million, Tesla lowered the price of the single motor model to KRW 59.99 million when launching the Model Y this year.

There is also a competition for technology development to reduce the price of batteries, which is almost half the price of electric vehicle parts.

In addition, a method was introduced to reduce purchase costs by leasing only batteries, and to recycle the used batteries into ESS that can store a large amount of electricity by returning them.

In the future, other electric car models, such as GM's Volt and Renault Samsung's Joe, are also expected to be released in Korea, so the choice of consumers is widening.

With the paradigm shifting in the automotive industry with a focus on eco-friendliness, safety issues such as electric vehicle fires are a challenge to be solved.
