This special train is loaded with supporting materials for the construction of the "Russian Baltic Gas Chemical Complex (GCC) Project" of China Chemical Engineering Seventh Construction Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the contract value of this project is nearly 100 billion yuan, which is the world's largest ethylene integration project and the project with the largest contract value for Chinese enterprises to "go global".

The relevant person in charge of China National Chemical Engineering Seventh Construction Co., Ltd. stated that the project is of great significance to the international cooperation of Chinese overseas projects.

The efficient transportation service and full supply chain service plan of Chengdu International Railway Port provides important support for the company to promptly and comprehensively complete the construction tasks of all stages of the project.

Wang Weikun, deputy general manager of Chengdu International Train Co., Ltd., said that the opening of the China-Europe train from Chengdu to St. Petersburg, Russia is a successful practice of combining the China-Europe train corridor with key projects of the “Belt and Road” construction.

Affected by the epidemic, it takes one month to two months for the goods to be shipped to the destination by sea, but it takes about 10 days to arrive via the China-Europe train.

According to reports, up to now, Chengdu International Railway Port has built 7 international railway channels and 5 international rail-sea combined transport channels, connecting 59 overseas cities and 20 domestic cities.

During the Spring Festival this year, the number of international trains at Chengdu International Railway Port and China-Europe trains both achieved steady growth.
