In recent years, Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, has focused on the source of scientific and technological innovation and the cluster of emerging industries. In 2020, the GDP will exceed one trillion yuan for the first time, becoming the first city in Anhui to enter the "trillion club".
During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, the Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center was approved for construction, and the number of large scientific installations ranked among the top in China.
