Finance Commissioner Eun Seong-soo said, "The Political Committee's answer is still valid" regarding Ssangyong Motor, which is preparing for the P plan (short-term court management) today (19th).

Chairman Eun met with reporters after a meeting with the head of a policy and financial institution today and answered the question,'Do you have any talks with Dong-geol Lee of Korea Development Bank regarding the purpose of saying that it would be better to save Ssangyong Motor by the Political Affairs Committee?'

He said at the plenary meeting of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee on the 17th, "If you have employment and it is okay, it is okay to save (Ssangyong Motor)," he said. "It is necessary to look at industrial judgment as to whether it can survive."

When asked,'Is it correct to have a conversation with Chairman Lee?', Chairman Eun said, "Yes. I said that day and today."

When asked,'Did Chairman Lee agree with the talk of the chairman?' At the regular meeting of the Political Commission, I asked with a smile,'Isn't it too much without asking for the opinions of the creditors?' "There is no creditor to kill," he answered. "If what I said at the time can live, it would be better to save it. Of course, the Minister of Industry will judge (this was the word). So, in that principle, in the big frame, maybe creditors will be the same."

HAAH Automotive, a potential investor of Ssangyong Motor, is demanding KDB support as much as the investment funds, and KDB is in a position to objectively evaluate business feasibility and decide whether to apply when a rehabilitation plan comes out.
