Due to the crisis linked to the coronavirus epidemic, the French car manufacturer Renault recorded a historic loss of 8 billion euros in the course of 2020, the group announced in a press release published on Friday.

In the second half of the year, the group reduced the breakage with a turnover down only 8.9% and a net loss of 660 million euros.

But its annual figures remain weighed down by sales down -21.3% and the results of its Japanese partner Nissan.
