The West is sounding the alarm: Iran must return to full compliance with its commitments, they write in a joint statement, preserve the principle of nuclear non-proliferation and ensure that Tehran can never acquire atomic weapons.

Concern is mounting, because since January, uranium enrichment has resumed at rates not seen since 2015. From Sunday, the Iranian government plans to restrict the access of IAEA inspectors, l International Atomic Energy Agency, at its facilities.

By breaking once again

from the provisions of the Vienna Agreement

, the Iranians are trying to pressure the new US administration to renounce the economic sanctions put in place under the presidency of Donald Trump.

The United States ready for dialogue

France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States have just answered them.

Unlike his predecessor, Joe Biden is ready to resume dialogue, but the Iranian regime must take the first step and stop provocations.

As a sign of goodwill, Washington canceled the UN assertion of a reimposition of sanctions against Iran this Thursday, February 18 and also accepted an invitation from Europeans to speak in the presence of Iran.

In addition, the United States has decided to ease travel restrictions for Iranian diplomats in New York who will now be able to move freely in the city and no longer be confined to a few streets around the UN headquarters.

Joe Biden reaches out to the Iranians but promises to stick to his campaign promises: Washington will only consider lifting its sanctions statements against Iran on one condition: if and only if the Tehran regime returns to its commitments made in 2015 and ceases to free itself every day from the measures provided for in the Vienna Agreement.

The IAEA director general is expected at the end of the week in Iran in order, in the words of his organization, "to

find a mutually acceptable solution for both parties

 ".
