The Japan Tourism Agency has added a maximum of 4000 yen as an expense per cancellation, as the suspension of Go To Travel has been prolonged and the burden of administrative procedures of travel agencies corresponding to reservation cancellations has increased. I will compensate.

Since November last year, Go To Travel has been excluded from the target in Sapporo and Osaka, and has been suspended nationwide since December 28, last year.

The Japan Tourism Agency compensates travel agencies and accommodation operators for 50% of the travel price during the year-end and New Year holidays and 35% for the rest of the year so that users do not have to pay the cancellation fee for reservations. ..

However, there are many voices from businesses that when responding to cancellations, the cost of making inquiries from users and the transfer fee for cancellation fees are increasing.

For this reason, the Japan Tourism Agency has announced that it will also compensate for these expenses.

Specifically, 10% of the compensation amount, up to 4000 yen per case, will be additionally paid to the travel agency and accommodation business operator.

If the 10,000 yen trip is canceled during the year-end and New Year holidays, 50% or 5000 yen will be paid to the business operator, but with this measure, 500 yen, which is 10% of that, will be added.
