Germany announced the confidentiality of negotiations with the United States on "Nord Stream - 2"

She stressed that Germany has stated this to the US administration and will continue to do so.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, reported that the United States had begun negotiations with Germany on Nord Stream 2.

As noted in the White House, the US position on the project has not changed, the American side considers the gas pipeline a bad deal.
