The Central Bank told about the investments of Russians in foreign securities in 2020

As noted by the regulator, last year the inflow of funds from Russian citizens into foreign securities amounted to 638 billion rubles.

It is clarified that the Russians have invested 415 billion rubles in shares, and 223 billion rubles in bonds.

At the same time, the Central Bank emphasizes that, despite the growth in investments in foreign securities, investments in securities of Russian issuers still account for the bulk of household investments - 85% as of January 1, 2021.

Earlier, RISS expert, economist Mikhail Belyaev, in an interview with FBA "Economics Segodnya", appreciated the idea of ​​allowing the capital to invest in securities.
