According to Mercedes, the eCall automatic emergency call system may give an incorrect location of the vehicle.

Suddenly, the manufacturer is launching a recall of vehicles built between 2017 and 2020 to correct the problem.

The operation consists of a simple system update and only takes half an hour.

This defect affects models such as the CLA, GLA, GLE, GLS, Class S and Class E. According to some sources, 1.3 million vehicles are affected in the United States.

France is not spared but the number of recalled cars is not yet known;

their owners will be contacted directly by Mercedes customer service.
