Car agencies in the country have revealed their intention to introduce new models in the local markets this year, with the aim of stimulating the market and increasing sales, after the launch of "2021 models" was postponed last year due to the global market retreat and the closures associated with the spread of the Corona virus.

Agency officials told "Emirates Today" that the decision to introduce new models of cars came after the improvement in sales in the UAE during the last quarter of 2020 by 36%, compared to the first nine months of the same year.

In detail, Samer Al-Dwaier, sales manager at Volkswagen Middle East, said that the company plans to launch four new models of cars in the UAE during the year 2021, as the T-Roc will be launched in the second half of February to be launched.
