Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 4.4 billion dirhams last week.

According to the weekly report on the actions issued by the department yesterday, 910 sales were recorded at a value of 1.77 billion dirhams, including 64 pledges of land worth 424.86 million dirhams, and 846 pledges to apartments and villas worth 1.35 billion dirhams, while mortgages recorded 2.46 billion dirhams, while 45 grants worth 197.29 were recorded. The most important land sales, with a value of 87 million dirhams, came in the "Saih Shuaib 3" area, followed by a pledge of 39 million dirhams in the "Gezira 2" area, and then a pledge of 37 million dirhams in the "Al-Thanyah Al-Fourth" area.

"Nad Al Sheba Third" topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded nine sales at a value of 22 million dirhams, followed by the "Al-Habibiya third" region with nine sales also recorded at a value of 23 million dirhams, and a third in the "Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens", which recorded six sales. The most important sales of apartments and villas were a pledge of 35 million dirhams in the “Al-Merkad” area, followed by a pledge of 21 million dirhams in the “Fourth Warsan” area, and finally a pledge of 20 million dirhams in the “Al-Murar” area.

"Business Bay" topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, with 127 pledges at a value of 157 million dirhams, followed by Dubai Marina with 102 sales of 199 million dirhams, and a third in "Al-Barsha South Fourth" with 71 pledges at a value of 57 million dirhams.
