“The ruble has found its equilibrium relative value in relation to the dollar and the euro.

That is, this fundamental value is about 75-76 rubles per dollar and 90-91 rubles per euro.

But conjunctural factors - some influencing information stuffing, some need to pay some bills, capital movements including - affect the deviation of the ruble exchange rate in one direction or another from the fundamental values ​​", - said the specialist.

According to him, the laws of economics are such that the ruble cannot deviate significantly from anchor values ​​for a long time.

“And the further he deviates under the influence of some circumstances, the more his thrust is to return to fundamental values, and returning to them, he skips this value and goes to the other side, it is very convenient to compare it with a pendulum,” he explained economist. 

He added that these fluctuations will occur over a period of time without any pronounced tendency for the ruble to rise or fall in value against the dollar. 

The euro rate during trading fell below 90 rubles.

The dollar was trading at 75.15 rubles.
