New restrictions on Etihad Airways flights to Saudi Arabia

Etihad Airways said that, following the recent directives issued by the Saudi authorities, new restrictions will be imposed on Etihad Airways flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, starting at 10 pm today, 3 February.

A spokesman for the carrier said that Etihad Airways' flights to and from Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam will continue to operate as scheduled, but entry to the Kingdom will be restricted to Saudi citizens, diplomats, doctors and their families only.



The spokesperson noted that Etihad Airways is working closely with affected travelers to inform them of the new changes in their travel plans and to assist them in adjusting them. The spokesperson also advised travelers who have booked their tickets through travel agents to speak to the relevant travel agency for assistance.
