SoftBank Group and Rakuten began accepting applications and shipping test kits from the 3rd so that individuals can undergo a PCR test to check for saliva infection whether they are infected with the new coronavirus.

Of these, the SoftBank Group has been conducting PCR tests using saliva since September last year after receiving applications from companies and local governments, but from the 3rd, it began accepting individual applications.

If you apply with the smartphone app, the test kit will be delivered to your home, etc., and if you collect saliva and send it to the test center, the results will be delivered as early as the day.

The maximum charge is 5500 yen per person, and a separate shipping fee will be charged for sending to the inspection center.

In addition, Rakuten also started shipping test kits on the 3rd, allowing individuals to apply for PCR tests using saliva, which was also accepted by companies and local governments, from January 28th.

If you apply from the dedicated site, you will receive the test kit in the same way, and the saliva will be collected and sent to the test center, which costs 7980 yen including shipping per person.

If you would like to discuss the test results, both companies will take measures such as introducing medical institutions.
