In January of this year, exports to Korea showed a double-digit increase following the transfer.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said that January exports recorded 48 billion dollars, an increase of 11.4% from the same period last year.
It is only 40 months since August and September 2017 that exports increased to double digits for the second consecutive month.
Total January exports also recorded 48 billion dollars, the second highest in January.
It was found that the performance of high value-added items such as system semiconductors, electric vehicles, and OLEDs increased significantly, leading the export trend.
